The Lord Praised for His Goodness.

1 ^{▼▼ Or Hallelujah! I will}Praise ^{▼▼ Heb Yah}the Lord!
I ^cwill give thanks to the Lord with all my heart,
In the ^dcompany of the upright and in the assembly.
2 ^eGreat are the works of the Lord;
They are ^{▼▼ Lit sought out
,} ^gstudied by all who delight in them.
3 ^{▼▼ Lit Splendor and majesty
,} ⁱSplendid and majestic is His work,
And ^jHis righteousness endures forever.
4 He has made His ^{▼▼ I.e. wonderful acts}wonders ^{▼▼ Lit a memorial}to be remembered;
The Lord is ^mgracious and compassionate.
5 He has ⁿgiven ^{▼▼ Lit prey}food to those who ^{▼▼ Or revere}fear Him;
He will ^qremember His covenant forever.
6 He has made known to His people the power of His works,
In giving them the heritage of the nations.

7 The works of His hands are ^{▼▼ Or faithfulness
,} ^struth and justice;
All His precepts ^tare ^{▼▼ Or trustworthy}sure.
8 They are ^vupheld forever and ever;
They are performed in ^{▼▼ Or faithfulness
,} ^xtruth and uprightness.
9 He has sent ^yredemption to His people;
He has ^{▼▼ Lit commanded}ordained His covenant forever;
^aaHoly and ^{▼▼ I.e. inspiring reverence}awesome is His name.
10 The ^{▼▼ Or reverence for
,} ^adfear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
A ^aegood understanding have all those who ^{▼▼ Lit do them}do His commandments;
His ^agpraise endures forever.
